The Bhagavad-gita starts with a normal person like you and me, Arjuna facing a difficult situation in life - to fight or not.
This is interesting - the Gita does not start with God but with a human facing a situation. Unable to decide the right thing to do, Arjuna turns to Krishna who then speaks to him for 45 minutes on various topics related to life – how to live, how to work, how to control mind, how to follow dharma and much more. At the end of the talk Arjuna lifts his bow and tells Krishna – “Karishye Vachanam Tava” (I will follow your instructions O Krishna). In essence Arjuna finds the right thing to do.
We all face similar situations in life just like Arjuna. We may not be standing in a War but we are surely facing our own mind and the world around us which at times seems like a Warfield. Krishna helped Arjuna to come out of his situation in a way that is in line with Universal Dharma. Krishna can help you also.
